I am a writer and critic based in Washington, DC. Most recently, I worked as a social media assistant at The New Republic. Before that, I graduated from Georgetown University, where I studied sociology and Spanish literature, and edited the Opinion section of the Georgetown Voice. I especially enjoy writing about the intersections of history, visual culture, and politics.

I have professional experience in sociological research, Russian-English translation, as well as social media strategy, copy-editing, and graphic design. In my free time, I love learning about art, cooking, watching Soviet comedies, and making greeting cards. I also co-write a newsletter about distortions of reality in modern life called Hyperreel.
